GR 2 is studying NGO's for their Make a Difference Unit. They had the wonderful opportunity to attend a class at the National Ballet School, together with a group of people with Parkinson's Disease. Together they explored movement and learned about how music and dance are beneficial for these patients, and the many wonderful benefits they have for all of us.
The cross-generational activity was very valuable and meaningful for the adults in the group as well as for our students. The Ballet School runs this program as community outreach and our class was fortunate to be a part of it and give back to the community.
